Elementry Love

I've been posting about love alot.
If youre wondering why, I'll tell you.
If your not, I'll tell you anyway. I have an idea. Its coming out good. Inspired by a few (ok, more like a ton)
of my friends posts lately
like
and some others on flickr.

So, I'm making a little project. To sooth my soul as the days turn grey and the snow threatens to fall.
Everyday, its coming closer. It shows its self it the thermomoter, the grass turning, the pond freezing over in the morning. Snow is coming. That white intimidating stuff that will cover the ground for the next 6 months of my life.
I'm pretty anti right now.

So, I hold on to love.
And I study love. And read about it, and think about it.Write about it and take pictures about it and talk to people about it.
Because, like the snow, I think its coming maybe not in the next 6 months, but its coming. It shows its self in the maturing of my heart, in my desires for the future changing, and I cry more.
That means love is coming.

So, I hold onto that. Snow is coming, but hey, lets make angels.

upon further reflection of masks and cover-ups

I don't feel like writing and I'm compelety overwhelmed.
But I'll write anyway.

"Discipline is important" I keep telling myself.

I'm back in the swing of things here at home, and as the day progresses and word gets out that I'm home, life becomes increasingly complicated. I mean, busy. Busy and complicated are not always the same thing.

Anyway,
Yesterday I had an idea.

And so I spent the better part of yesterday shooting.
And editing,
and now I just have to write.

Along with fivethousandmillion other things to get done before....9 pm.

part II

I write from the basement of a country house in the out skirts of Portland, Oregon. Its chilly tonight, my nose is cold. The very tip of it.

I've been quite terrible on keeping up with things this trip. At least, thats how it seems to be. Funny thing is, I've not taken many pictures. I'm breathing more. Fretting Less.

In Colorado Springs, the elevation is at about 6,000 feet about sea level. Its hard to breathe there, you have to deliberately remind your self to slow down and breath. In, out, in, out, in, out. Its a funny thing, remembering to breathe.  I wondered if thats maybe what heaven will be like.
Not so much, having to remember to breathe, but rather.... breathtaking.
just breath taking.

So, here I am in Portland,
last week was crazy.

I  packed a backpack. A big one.

Took a 22 hour bus ride to Colorado Springs.

Got adjusted. Learned to Breathe.

I made a movie for the really cool people at IPS

and climbed and mountain and then ran down.

experienced
snow in september

and then rain

and now I'm in Oregon doing this kind of stuff.

tons of other things happened, like meeting people and crazy bus stories and cutting open my leg while graffiting.
but, i'm pretty tired right now.

so,

peace
