Laura is Barista
So,
in theory.... coffee has caffeine.
And this week, I am the chief Barista at the ATI Regional Conference in Big Sandy, Texas.
So, in theory, the chief barista who serves coffee should be well caffeinated.
well... this time, theory is wrong.
Currently, I am tired.
A little exhausted, my feet hurt.
But.... my heart?
Its happy.
Because my family drove down to come to the conference.
Because a bunch of really cool people get together each year... and I meet more cool people every time.
Because one of my goals for this year was to be a barista all over again. I didn't think that I was going to be able to do it.

An update
Road Tripped to Houston
took some family portaits
Reflected on life with friends
Felt like a yellow in a blue world
I am alive, kicking, and shooting.
Headed home soon, but not before I am going to be a barista all over again.
Whoohoo Regionals

Rehearsal
So, it turns out I made it to Texas alive and all.
I am laying in bed, completely exhausted from traveling,
and I am going to shoot a wedding.
Today.
Josh Wychopen is a good friend of mine, he got me an internship position, opened my eyes to the worlds of graphics and has given me an opportunity to get published.
And now, he is getting married. It promises to be a grand affair. Last night at the 7 hour rehearsal there was a full orchestra and choir 6 photographers and 2 videographers.
This thing is huge.
And I am so greatfull to be a part of it.
This should be a fun day
